Title: ‘HBS Women’ LinkedIn Group – Greater Boston Area Happy Hour!

What: Join female students and alumni in the greater Boston area for a fun meet and greet happy hour at Tommy Doyle’s!

Where: Tommy Doyle’s in Harvard Square: 230 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA

Title: Career Circle with Science Club for Girls

When: March 28th, 3:30 to 5:30pm

Where: Aldrich Hall 007

What: Several volunteers needed to lead career discussions with members of the Science Club for Girls, a Cambridge-based girls’ leadership program that coordinates after-school science clubs. Teams of WSA members will lead Career Circles with small groups of girls, discussing educational and career paths and answering questions.  This event will involve a preparation session (likely the week before). Please sign up only if you are certain you can commit to the date and time.  To sign-up, please complete this poll.

Title: The Graduate Women in Business and the Council for Women of Boston College host the Women’s Perspective from the Topa panel and networking event

What: Women’s Perspective from the Top will be moderated by Cindy Brown, General Manager of Boston Duck Tours.

Panelists will include:

  • Terri Stanley, CEO Style Boston. BC CSOM 1981.
  •  Pat Hillman, Managing Director of Devonshire Investors, Managing Director of Technology at Fidelity Investments. BC MBA 1979.
  •  Pamela Civins, Executive Director of Boston Partners in Education
  •  Dr. Elizabeth Pomfret, Chair of the Lahey Clinic Department of Transplantation, Boston University School of Medicine. BC A&S 1983.
  •  Geri Denterlein, President of Denterlein, a strategic communications firm

These top female executives representing the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, nonprofit, healthcare and communications strategy will share their experiences in building and leading organizations. Panel topics will include management style, leadership strategies, competitive cultural advantages of female-led organizations and wage parity issues. A networking session will follow the panel. Refreshments will be served.
