Peaks Foundation: Calling all adventurous women!

The Peaks Foundation is a newly-created nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that empowers women from across the globe to make a positive social impact through their participation in mountain-based adventure challenges in Africa, Asia, and South America.  Originally founded in 2004 as the 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge Africa, the Peaks Foundation is now a global social enterprise with expanded trip offerings.  We organize these challenges for women who seek adventure, a sense of personal achievement, and an opportunity to make a positive difference in the world. Through our climbs, we support and empower women and girls in the local communities where the challenges take place, supporting initiatives such as education, maternal healthcare, and community-led conservation.  By joining one of our climbs, you could contribute to the advancement of girls and women worldwide, and in doing so, positively impacting individuals, families, communities, and countries.

If you are interested in learning more about the organization and our 2011 challenges, please check out our newly-launched website at  You can also connect with us via Facebook or Twitter. Should you have any questions or wish to get involved, please feel free to reach out to Tracie Neuhaus at
