What:  HUWIB's InFocus Finance program is a four week program that introduces our members to different aspects of the finance world. The last session of our program takes place on November 17th, and will be focused on helping our members learn how to tackle/prepare for finance interviews. What:  The HBS Women's Association of Boston invites members of the HBS WSA to its upcoming event on assertiveness. Do you sometimes struggle to speak up?  Or do you speak up but find you’re not “getting through” to those you’re trying to influence?  Do you find it easier to speak candidly in certain situations or relationships but not in others?  If so, you’ll want to join us on October 27 for an evening with Sheila Heen. Well known as one of the authors of The New York Times best-seller "Difficult Conversations", Sheila’s latest work focuses on assertiveness.  In this session, she will examine the most common obstacles to our ability to assert ourselves effectively as leaders. She’ll also share techniques for overcoming the obstacles – some of which may surprise you!  Cost: $10 per student
