Parker will graduate from HBS in May 2013. Prior to business school, Parker worked as a management consultant in Deloitte’s Strategy and Operations practice, and also served as a Strategy Fellow for Pencils of Promise, an organization that builds schools in the developing world. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, and will spend the summer working for a consumer start-up called “The Shirt” in Washington, DC. A native North Carolinian, Parker attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated with a BS in Business Administration and Honors in Creative Writing.

Deborah will graduate from HBS in May 2013. Prior to school, she worked in communications at Google in New York and Sydney, Australia. Deborah is passionate about technology and media, and this summer, she will work at WaPo Labs, a start-up within The Washington Post that focuses on digital innovations. Deborah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Intellectual History. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.

Natasha will graduate from HBS in May 2013. Prior to school, she worked in management consulting at Bain in Boston, Singapore and Thailand. Natasha is passionate about energy and the non-profit sector, and this summer, she will work at Harvest Power, a start-up focused on clean technology in the organic waste management space. Natasha graduated with Honors from Stanford University with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Russian Language and Literature. She loves exploring new places, cooking and late-night political debates.

Gena graduated from Harvard College with an A.B. in English Literature. Before coming to HBS she worked as a strategy consultant for American Express in New York, where she also spent time on the product strategy team for LearnVest, Inc., a start-up focused on women's financial literacy and resources. Last summer she interned at Goldman Sachs in the private wealth management division. In her free time, Gena enjoys choral singing, wine tasting, mentoring, and baking for friends and family.

Objective: Plan and execute an exciting and powerful Dynamic Women in Business Conference that celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the WSA, the 50th Anniversary of women at HBS, and the amazing women that inspire us.

Prior to HBS, Kara was a Senior Consultant in the General Management division at Oliver Wyman. As a consultant, she focused on the Media & Technology and Retail industries. This summer, she will be working in Consumer Marketing with Time Inc. on the Sports Illustrated brand. Kara graduated from Harvard majoring in History of Art and Architecture with minors in Economics and Spanish. Her interests include basketball, modern art, cooking Cuban food, and traveling.

Valerie attended Yale University, where she double-majored in Biochemistry and Applied Math. Valerie also completed a masters in Statistics at Harvard University. Prior to HBS, she spent three years as a management consultant at BCG, serving clients in consumer/retail and healthcare. She was also heavily involved with the Women’s Initiative at BCG in her local office.

Victoria received her B.S. from MIT in Aerospace Engineering. Prior to HBS she worked as an engineer at Orbital Sciences Corporation, an aerospace firm that builds launch and satellite systems. She also has an M.S. in Systems Engineering from George Washington University. Victoria will be working at Audi of America this summer in their Logistics group. In her free time (and when at home in Virginia), she plays tennis, gardens, reads, cooks, and spends time with her husband and cats.
